backCargo Services Inc. (CSI) presently operates from four facilities in South Florida, including on-airport premises at both MIA and FLL. Our MIA facility features space at Bldg. #706 with direct access to ramp with aircraft parking, separate doors for loading and offloading, a “cage” for high value commodities, a front counter reception area, traffic/customer service and administrative offices.

In addition to receiving and dispatching cargo, and manipulation of all freight configurations (loose, containerized, and palletized cargo), we offer a fleet of 10 bonded trucks (closed rollerbed transports and pallet, ULD truck) for the efficient shuttle of cargo to and from the ramp, and interline transfers. CSI’s local line-haul services link our airline clients’ freight cost effectively to every other carrier operating at either of our two major gateway airports to Latin America and Europe (MIA and FLL).

Cargo Services offers three strategic operational advantages in the very demanding South Florida air cargo market:

(1) One of the few licensed cargo General Handling Agents located on MIA and FLL premises.

(2) A proven track record of professional logistical support for carriers with varying operational requirements.

(3) Significant cost savings resulting from outsourcing labor intensive operations to a competitive contractor.

In order to assist our clients capture maximum market share, CSI extends the airlines marketing reach by placing at its disposal a professional Sales Force at the largest gateway to Latin America and a network of 34 offices worldwide.

An added benefit is CSI’s well established profile in the South Florida marketplace. With a history of nearly a decade of building relationships within the freight forwarding community in Miami, CSI has earned a reputation as a competitive, reliable and ethical proxy for the carriers it represents

The primary marketing advantage CSI offers its clients, is centralized responsibility for coordinating all marketing efforts designed to achieve the carrier’s revenue and yield objectives. These functions include, among others:

(1) Automated Reservations;
(2) Customer Service, including cargo tracking;
(3) Full documentation services and AWB distribution;
(4) Implementing your company’s regional marketing plan by
focusing on the major commodities moving between the U.S. and Latin America, and the key “players” moving said cargo;
(5) Stimulating business for the airline by building on Cargo Services ‘ strong relationship with the area’s major forwarders;
(6) Forging strategic alliances with compatible domestic and International carriers by negotiating and implementing mutually beneficial interline agreements (CSI has negotiated an extensive portfolio of such agreements on behalf of its current clients); and
(7) Serving as your U.S. –based agent fully responsible for all offshore sales and collections in its assigned sales territory.
